In recent years many planning policy documents and related publications have only been available in digital form. Once they are superceded it is often impossible to obtain copies, even though they provide a useful insight into how policy has changed and evolved into its current form, and in the case of guidance and other documents, may still contain valuable lessons and evidence that remains relevant.
NRPF has obtained permission from DCLG to maintain a free and publicly accessible archive of such items that are relevant to retail planning although of course in the case of planning policy guidance and statements these have now been superseded by the NPPF and NPPG.
